Hi, my name is
Ajaykumar Gautam.
I build the firmware that runs the world.
Founding Embedded Engineer at BETTR. I design hardware, firmware and IoT systems — from medical devices to EV powertrains — focused on practical engineering that ships.
About Me
I'm an Electronics Engineer with a strong foundation in embedded systems, PCB design, and IoT. I’m currently leading embedded development at BETTR (Neuromuscular Labs), where we are building health-tech hardware from the ground up.
I design and develop complete embedded solutions—from advanced PCB design (including SMD assembly and fine-pitch components like BGA and 0201) to firmware development on platforms such as ESP32, STM32, dsPIC, and Nordic nRF series. My work includes hardware bring-up, peripheral integration (ADC, UART, SPI, I²C, BLE, Wi-Fi), and optimized firmware using Zephyr, FreeRTOS, and edge ML with TensorFlow Lite.
I also specialize in developing intuitive GUIs and HMIs for embedded systems, enabling real-time monitoring and seamless user interaction. My approach focuses on building firmware that is robust, hardware that is manufacturable, and systems that perform reliably in real-world conditions.
My work has been recognized in medical-device and sustainable-energy domains, and I continue to focus on developing impactful, user-centric electronic systems.
